Belfast E coli outbreak

In response to our enquiry regarding the likely timescale for delivery of their report into the Belfast E coli outbreak linked to Flicks restaurant, the Public Health Agency have told us that they do not expect to be able to provide any estimated date for conclusion of their investigation for at least another two weeks. They have also told us that they are not planning to issue any interim report or release any interim findings in advance of their final report.

We have been assured by the claims handlers who are responding to the correspondence we had sent to Flicks that the business did have Public Liability Insurance which includes cover for food poisoning claims, which is obviously reassuring for those affected by the outbreak.

The number of people affected by E coli who we are acting for in bringing claims for compensation is continuing to increase. We are confident that we can secure full financial compensation for them.

If you have been affected by E coli food poisoning after eating in Flicks please contact Paul McEvoy at our Belfast office as soon as possible.
